Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, strong client management skills, and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with high levels of satisfaction. Serve as the primary point of contact for complex accounts and provide expert advice on insurance products and risk management strategies.
  • Account Oversight: Oversee the management of a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including policy administration, renewals, and modifications. Ensure that coverage aligns with client needs and industry regulations.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape. Use this knowledge to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations for their insurance needs.
  • Team Leadership and Training: Mentor and support junior account managers and staff, providing guidance and training as needed. Foster a collaborative team environment and contribute to the development of best practices within the department.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, or CRM are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial insurance account management, with a strong background in managing middle market and complex accounts.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to analyze insurance needs, develop strategies, and deliver client-focused solutions. Proficiency in insurance software and management systems.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
