JAB is exclusively working with an E&P company in Denver looking for a Sustainability Specialist to champion ESG and air quality compliance, carbon management, and contribute to our journey to Net Zero. You'll work with large datasets, ensuring precision and meeting regulatory and business objectives. This is a new position for the company due to growth!
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate on ESG goals, air quality compliance, and GHG emissions tracking (Scope 1, 2, 3).
Lead the development of GHG models and emissions monitoring systems.
Maintain real-time emissions dashboards and ensure accurate reporting to EPA and other compliance bodies.
Work on air permitting and compliance (Title V, GHG) and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
Create strategic communications for internal and external use.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of Clean Air Act regulations, GHG management, and sustainability protocols.
Experience working with environmental compliance teams in oil and gas.
Strong analytical skills for GHG emissions calculations.
Proficiency with emissions quantification software (ProMax is a plus).
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree required, engineering or related field preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Additional Info:
Some travel (up to 10%) required.
