PROGRAM MANAGER TECH 1

TECHNOLOGY COMPANY

ROLE IS REMOTE BUT CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCATED ON THE EAST COAST

$47.02-$49.25, $8,275-$8,668/month COMPENSATION RATE (depending on experience)

THE CLIENT

Our client is a large technology company based in the Greater Seattle Area. They develop software, services, products, and hardware devices.

PROGRAM MANAGER TECH 1
  • Leadership Development Instructional Designer Support Works with Client Curriculum Managers and other trainers to identify specific business needs and to propose training solutions.
  • Assess the needs of target audiences.
  • Designs, develops, writes and maintains courseware with primary development in e-learning authoring tools to create interactive and engaging content. This includes videos, quizzes, simulations, and more.
  • Design and develop supporting materials including slides, handouts, lab instructions, and lab solutions for courses that emphasize the tasks necessary to perform duties.
  • Has experience working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to present or incorporate their expertise into various types of training.
  • Has experience researching learning and development (and/or Leadership Development) related information.
  • Maintains awareness of external seminars and training plus literature on available programs.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Top 3 Skills:

1. Video editing | 1-2 years of experience.

2. SharePoint experience | 1-2 years of experience.

3. Analyzing data/metrics | 1-2 years of experience.

Years of Experience: 0-2 overall years of experience in the field.

Qualifications:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience providing project status to line and senior management
  • High level of organization, planning, prioritization, and attention to detail
  • Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data and program metrics.
  • Can work autonomously and collaboratively, taking initiative and interacting with both global and regional leaders.
  • Time management: shows skills in developing timelines and completing projects
  • Experience working with media such as video and video editing
  • Experience with PPT, Word, Excel
  • Experience in instructional design, including needs assessment, learner, context, and task analyses, capture & structure documentation to record program progress.
  • Experience in developing learning-centered, performance-based learning programs for many different audiences in different environments.
  • Broad experience developing and delivering e-learning programs.
  • Extensive experience in technical communications (writing and editing).
  • Experience working with clients, subject matter experts, and development team members to create learning programs that fit client needs.

Degree/Certs: If they have a certification in project management, that would be preferred but not required.

Disqualifiers: Candidates with a lot of job-hopping will not be eligible for this role.

Best: The ideal resume would contain experience with project management in the learning and development space before, experience analyzing data.
  • Power BI experience
  • Experience developing training deployments with responsive design/mobile learning platforms such as Articulate Storyline

PI: Feedback from team & Sponsor. Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and meeting deadlines. Very tasked based with milestones. Quick turnaround.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Start & End: 9/30/2024 - 6/30/2025.

Schedule: M-F, 40 hrs a week, no OT expected.

Typical Tasks: The role will consist of some collaborative work, but mainly heads down work on SLP SharePoint, following up on tasks, documentation.

Interaction Level: High level of interaction with Team & Sponsor.

Work Environment: Remote.

Flex Hours/Remote: 100% offsite, must be in Eastern time zone.

Extension: Chance to extend.
