JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
B2U is seeking a BESS Project Manager to manage engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities in support of the Company's energy storage facility deployments in Texas. The position will report to the COO. Responsibilities will include:
Creating and maintaining project schedules and managing critical path activities.
Managing contracts with construction contractors, suppliers, engineering consultants, and other third parties.
Sourcing, purchasing, expediting and inventory control management of all project materials, equipment, components, and supplies.
Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, performance metrics.
Training, motivating, evaluating and leading EPC team members.
SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE:
At least five (5) years of hands-on experience with EPC work (design, construction, fabrication, manufacturing, testing and/or operations) in electrical power or facilities construction and project management.
AA (BS a plus) Degree in a technical or project management discipline.
Strong communication skills, electrical construction experience and project management skills.
Highly motivated, process-oriented self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities within schedule constraints in an efficient and accurate manner.
Computer Skills: MS Office Suite, MS Project.
Authorized to work in the US.
LOCATION: Hybrid. Remote during engineering, procurement, and planning activities. Onsite at project sites during construction activities. Initial projects are in greater San Antonio, TX area.
