Job Overview:

The Project Manager will oversee the installation and implementation of refrigeration (mechanical) systems for industrial and commercial facilities. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing project execution from planning to commissioning, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with engineers, field staff, customers, general contractors, and end users.
  • Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Manage project scheduling and coordinate with internal teams and clients to meet deadlines.
  • Track and report on the financial performance of projects, ensuring budget adherence.
  • Supervise construction and service personnel during project installation and commissioning.
  • Review and understand scopes of work, contracts, and project objectives.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Balance multiple tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet project commitments.
  • Address and solve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience in the refrigeration or construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle shifting project priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving, people, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel (typically 10-20%).
