They are looking for a Construction Junior Estimator to support the estimating team by assisting with cost estimation, bid preparation, and project analysis. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
Contribute to the preparation of bid proposals and ensure that all relevant documentation is complete and accurate.
Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
Obtain and analyze quotes from subcontractors and suppliers to incorporate into project estimates.
Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and related documents; update and revise estimates as needed.
Provide administrative and analytical support to senior estimators and project managers, including data entry and report generation.
The ideal Construction Junior Estimator will have:
Previous internship or work experience in construction is advantageous.
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
