Akkodis is seeking a Development Engineer for a 12-month contract position with a medical device manufacturer located in Jacksonville, FL.
Onsite: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: 12 months
Pay Range: $46.95 - $49.95 hr.
This is a remediation integration project
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Model creation from scratch
Additional testing for design verification and validation
Key Team member of Integration/Remediation of newly acquired product.
Identifies all tasks required to complete project assignments according to Design Control procedures.
Participates in root cause analysis
Generates 3d models and product drawings
Contributes to generation of a comprehensive protocol for testing/analyzing the product
Executes generated testing as required
Prepares definitive new product specifications or modifies existing specifications
Generates or updates design assurance documentation
Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs)
QUALIFICATIONS: • B.S. in Mechanical, Biomedical, Industrial Engineering, or other engineering science plus 3-5 years of experience. • Experience with 21 CFR 820.30 (Design Controls) FDA's Quality System Regulation and ISO 13485 regulations. • Transfer of design specifications into manufacturing specifications (Design Transfer) including document preparation for Design History Files/Device Master Records/Risk Management. • Experience with complex assembles • Good oral and written communication skills • Statistical background • Ability to effectively work within a team and cross functionally to expedite completion of critical project tasks. • Good documentation skills. • Microsoft Office Suite and Project
