Our client is seeking a Product Manager II with proven success in delivering digital (web and mobile) products and services. The Product Manager II will identify and create product requirements and take ownership from initial concept through delivery. The Product Manager II
works closely with large organizations and cross-functional teams. The Product Manager II understands existing processes and how they impact the end customers and creates new approaches.
Key Accountabilities:
Works in an Agile framework as "Product Owner" to deliver continuous digital enhancements and industry-leading customer experience, with a focus on engaging them throughout the customer lifecycle, from sales to account management.
Works closely with the engineering team to plan and manage sprint capacity, ensuring efficient delivery.
Writes detailed user stories to capture product feature requirements, drives refinement / grooming sessions, and manages the backlog.
Works closely with customer experience and content teams to design product features and ensure they reflect the original vision.
Works closely with solution design, architects, and development teams to ensure features are well planned, requirements are understood, and deliverables meet acceptance criteria.
Leads product and / or cross-functional working sessions, as needed.
Develops detailed product features on an on-going basis; aggressively identifies strategic opportunities for improvement and develops implementation plans.
Performs best practice research and benchmarking, conducts competitive analysis, and develops strong understanding of stakeholders to drive development decisions.
Partners with analytics and research personnel to assess performance and identify areas of opportunity to meet customer needs and key performance indicators.
Communicates feature status and performance metrics to stakeholders on a regular basis. Provides product support and develops customer / sales / care tools and training / awareness materials, as needed.
Provides subject matter expertise to team members, as required.
Required Skills & Experience
5-8 years of related experience required.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Ability to understand customer behavior and needs and translate that into product requirements.
Ability to dive deep into technical considerations as needed
