We are recruiting on behalf of a market leading Chemical manufacturing business who are actively seeking a Senior Production Engineer for their facility in Freeport, TX. The company operate more than 70 manufacturing, R&D and operations facilities in approximately 30 countries and employ approximately 9,000 employees.
Responsibilities:
Provide subject matter expertise for all processes and products in your assigned area of responsibility.
Monitor daily unit operations to ensure performance within acceptable boundaries, producing products that meet quality specifications at peak efficiency with minimal waste.
Lead the team when troubleshooting quality, process upsets, or equipment failures.
Provide technical advice to operations, management, process improvement teams, and other plant groups as necessary.
Participate in Process Hazard Analysis studies and incident investigations for your area or as assigned.
Lead Root Cause Analysis and drive corrective actions to completion before they become overdue.
Document process changes using Management of Change tools.
Update operating discipline and operating procedures to clarify or improve documentation.
Support the development of production plans to deliver business objectives, including assessing plant operating parameters and recommending operating targets.
Requirements:
BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
3-5+ years of previous production experience.
Proven history of driving change in a manufacturing operations environment.
