Company is in search of a Purchasing Supervisor within the Dixon, MO area. Candidates will need 3-5 years of Purchasing/Procurement experience within a Manufacturing environment. Candidates must have excellent analytical skills to maintain inventory, and perform transactions with a high degree of accuracy. Candidates must also have vendor management, capitol project and purchase management experience. This is a Supervisory role where you will have 2-3 purchasing specialists to lead. Responsibilities:
Perform monthly inventory counts and associated reconciliation in the production area(s) to support operational requirements
Provide support for audits and internal processes
Plan and place purchase orders for raw materials to ensure supply targets are maintained and replenish raw material inventory within production areas
Track purchase orders to ensure on time deliveries and expedite when required
Process transactions related to the receipt of materials
Process transactions related to the issue of materials
Perform back up responsibilities to purchasing and crib functions
Purchasing of Miscellaneous goods
Purchasing of Propane (Forklift) & Compressed Gases (Cylinders for Production and Maintenance use
Expense non-spare parts and small equipment (and sourcing)
Assist Staff on searching of parts from time to time
Forklift Monthly PM's
Fire Suppression Monthly Inspections
Monthly contract agreements service (4 current yearly contracts)
Multiple daily/weekly purchasing of contractor work (From Planned Repairs to Emergency services requested)
Rental equipment (purchasing & involvement of being picked up to return)
Creating request of small amount of services & purchasing (tracking expense) Tote removals
Updating & managing Certificate of Insurance tracker also is the Approved Contractor list
Overseeing new contracts/agreements prior to sending off for reviewing up
