We are currently partnered with an innovative Bio-Tech Venture Capital firm that is continuing their exciting growth and seeking to add a Vice President of Legal to run a wide range of strategic Venture Capital & Finance transactions. This individual will work directly with leadership and have strong visibility across the organization while reporting to the partners of the firm. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative team with the ability to make an impact on the size of its portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Run strategic transactions such as Financings, Licensing, IP, & Venture Capital
Being the point person for newly formed portfolio companies and advising on legal and operational matters
Negotiate and draft complex corporate & commercial agreements
Work with external stakeholders and manage outside counsel
Requirements:
JD from a top tier law school
12+ years of experience within private practice, in-house environment, or mix of both
Experienced on financings (raising series B, C rounds)
Experienced negotiating and reviewing corporate agreements
Experience working on Financings or Venture Capital deals in the Bio-tech space a major plus
