Responsible for the effective operation of the loan processing department with a concentration on Non-Real Estate loans.
Provides secure, accurate, responsive, and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers at all times.
Primary objective of this position is to be a trusted advisor to every internal and external customer. Inspires confidence and builds lasting relationships by consistently exhibiting each of the trusted advisor skills in order to help our customers identify and achieve their financial goals.
Essential Job Functions:
Supervise employees and functions of the Loan Processing department ensuring all service standards are met in a courteous, thorough, and timely manner.
Provides direction to branch personnel in regards to the loan platform system.
Responsible for ensuring that Regulatory compliance is achieved.
Assist Manager in training for new and existing processors.
Pre-Closing review of all loan files that are within thresholds set by Director of Loan Operations.
Other Functions:
Assists other branch personnel perform their duties on loan closings when necessary
Assist Department Manager with coordinating scheduled time off and time edits for the Loan Processing area.
Assist Loan Processing Manager in managing labor and performance levels according to budget and performance report.
Assist Loan Processing Manager in performing coaching sessions and establishing development plans with each employee to ensure staff development.
Provide support to Commercial Real Estate Processing as needed.
Other duties as requested by Manager or other management representatives of the bank
Qualification Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred
5 years real estate and complex commercial processing experience
Accuracy and attention to detail
Experience with training of staff
Advanced computer, calculator and typing skills
Knowledge of regulatory, legal, and bank regulations
Professional oral and written communication skills
Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
