This role demands a seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and industrial piping systems and a history of managing teams in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage piping installation crews, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Oversee the installation of various piping systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and industrial piping, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, foreman, and other trades to coordinate work schedules, material deliveries, and workforce allocation.
Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations, proactively addressing any issues.
Ensure full compliance with safety protocols and building codes, conducting regular site assessments to mitigate risks.
Manage material usage and labor productivity to optimize efficiency while maintaining a clean and organized job site.
Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and vendors, fostering positive relationships to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in piping systems installation and supervision, focusing on commercial HVAC, plumbing, or industrial piping.
Proven ability to manage and lead field teams on large-scale projects.
Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes, safety regulations, and piping standards.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and detailed technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, effectively managing internal teams and external stakeholders.
Local candidate with a stable and consistent work history, demonstrating reliability and dedication.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Bluebeam, MS Project, and AutoCAD is a plus.
