Akkodis is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Automotive Training Facilitator. This crucial role involves delivering product knowledge and skills-based training to Technicians and Shop Foremen, contributing to a positive learning culture within the Automotive retail environment.
Pay Rate: $45.00 - $48.00 Per Hour
Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of technical automotive experience.
Skills: Proficient in facilitation, adult learning theory, process improvement principles, and dealership process diagnosis.
Presentation: Excellent presentation and listening skills with the ability to engage adult learners.
Technical Proficiency: Competent in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and internet use.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with Team Leader and regional teams to ensure course offerings align with dealer needs.
Deliver technical, product knowledge, and skill-based instruction, including certification, tactical, product launch, and tailored programs.
Uphold the Automotive Brand profile in each training session.
Contribute as a subject matter expert in curricula design and development.
Partner with regional and Academy teams to assess training needs and provide feedback on curricula.
Assist in determining core competencies for Technicians and Shop Foremen.
Work with the Team Leader to ensure quality delivery, meeting goals and standards consistently.
Stay informed about industry trends and automotive products by attending auto shows and reading trade publications.
Work Flexibility: Up to 15% travel required for train-the-trainer workshops and international product training (Passport required).
Field role, with a home base in the designated region.
Physical Requirements: Ability to move heavy objects, stand or bend for extended periods, reach for extended periods, and bend or stoop in confined spaces.
Additional Responsibilities: Facility Management: Maintain the training center and collaborate on building improvements.
Fleet Management: Ensure the training center fleet is operational and conduct on-vehicle worksheets and diagnostic testing.
Tools and Equipment: Ensure all tools and equipment are available and well-maintained at the Learning Center.
