Job Description:

AppleOne is assisting a client located in Orlando with finding an Assistant Buyer to join their team.

Desired Requirements and Competencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information and respond professionally to questions from leadership, vendors or ambassadors
  • Preferably prior experience in structured supply management organization and/or in a food related field
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel)
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, accept change and meet deadlines with minimal supervision (once trained)
  • Basic knowledge of SAP and Financial Accounting a plus

Primary responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Sr. Category Manager
  • Assist in development and implementation of tools (NPNs, ONSAs, Outline Agreement and Contracts)
  • Initial review and analysis of supplier proposed pricing
  • Assist with running and analyzing KPI's designed to help monitor Culinary cost of sales
  • Review invoices, statements & purchase orders for completeness and accuracy; ensure received quantities and pricing are in line with invoices and work with Buyers to resolve issues
  • Respond to supplier questions and requests on behalf of the Sr. Category Manager
