Job Description:
This Lab Tech 4 position is in a group that provides monoclonal antibodies, recombinant and native proteins to support reagent manufacturing for in-vitro diagnostics. The candidate will perform various activities to support manufacturing. These include:
Humanely handle and manipulate animals and collect samples.
The worker will handle mice samples using syringes, perform cage cleaning, and feeding as part of the regular routine.
Performs care and maintenance of the animals to maintain compliance with Animal Welfare regulations.
Monitors health of animals, provides routine healthcare, maintain animal health records and interact with attending veterinarian.
Preparation of buffers and solutions for manufacturing
Preparation and autoclaving of supplies for cell culture manufacturing.
Regular monitoring and cleaning of lab equipment and lab spaces
Required skills/knowledge:
Associate degree in biology, chemistry or related discipline or equivalent industry experience
Proven good laboratory skills
Available to work weekend and holidays on a rotating basis
Industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO is a plus.
The successful candidate will be good at time management, possess well developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
