We are currently assisting our customer, an industry leader, with an Plant Manager search near Bowling Green, OH. This role involves leading manufacturing operations to foster a safety-focused work environment while meeting production and quality targets. The ideal candidate will lead by example and proactively drive continuous improvement within a growing manufacturing business.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement plans to enhance existing operations
Empower teams with a collaborative, inclusive, and balanced managerial approach to achieve commitments
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement to optimize plant operations
Identify, share, and leverage best practices across the operation
Continuously challenge departments to minimize downtime, reduce scrap, and improve overall production quality
Regularly assess product specifications and costs, including labor and overhead
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
5+ years leading Production Operations
Prior experience leading, coaching, and developing a team and delivering performance metrics
