Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Fulfillment Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of the fulfillment team- receiving and processing orders, packing and shipping products, and managing inventory, etc. This person will elevate the fulfillment team's efficiency and skillset by executing strategy and implementing, teaching and helping refine company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the ability to lift heavy boxes and stand for long periods of time.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems.
Manage the fulfillment team with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
Set and meet daily goals along with team members.
Instruct and assist team members when needed.
Support team members by being present, open and willing to listen.
Be a conduit for healthy communication from team members to management.
Work closely with Human Resources to lead the team with integrity and to establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Perform quality control checks on all products before shipping.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
You will succeed if you:
Are highly accountable and are able to hold others accountable.
Have at least 3 years of leadership experience in fulfillment (preferably in a similar industry)
Are a high energy and versatile leader.
Possess a high attention to detail in inspecting garments and understanding sales order paperwork.
Have the ability to identify weak spots in a process to improve efficiency.
Are able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Have an understanding of lean management principles
Can pivot strategy quickly and effectively.
Have the ability to type 40+ words per minute.
Are proficient in information technology systems.
Can take direction well while also being able to self-direct.
Have great communication and problem-solving skills.
