Our client is looking for a contract Senior Buyer/Buyer to join their procurement department.
Contract - estimated 3+ months
40 hours per week
Onsite daily - Office in Placentia
$35-45/hour depending on experience
Requirements for the role:
BA or BS in Materials Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Planning or a related field required.
Minimum seven (7) years related experience, experience in procurement including purchasing, inventory control, contract negotiation, supply management, supplier relationships, basics of Cost Accounting, and tracking budget expenses in a manufacturing environment - required.
Deep understanding of MPR process and procurement practices
Intermediate SAP experience
Intermediate / Advanced Excel experience, with analytical abilities
Strong communication skills (listening, speaking, writing, presentation, inter-personal)
