Our Supermajor Gas & Power client is looking for a Corporate Contracts & Procurement Specialist for a long-term contract in Houston, TX (Hybrid, Downtown). You will be responsible for supporting the renewal of the Operating & Maintenance contracts of 3 newly acquired Integrated Power Plants in the USA.
Responsibilities
Manage Contracts & Procurement activities for IPUS.
Develop the entity's Contracts and Procurement strategy entity and to implement the procedures related to activities within the new Affiliates
Ensure the quality and the value of the service delivered by delivering mutual beneficial Operations & Maintenance Contractor agreements for our Power Generation assets in the US, while ensuring compliance and reducing risk.
Build strong partnerships with suppliers.
Develop and execute large sourcing events to support IPUS operations, and purchase orders (Operation & Maintenance Contract Call for Tenders as an example).
Manage the Local Contract Committee for IPUS.
Assist with budget holders defining the Affiliate Master Procurement Planning for the upcoming years.
Ensure the follow-up of all expenditures related to contracts and procurement.
Measure cost savings.
Analyze and consolidate the planning on contracts and procurement activities.
Issue the annual Master Procurement Planning.
Organize and implement the procurement plans and Contract Committees
Implement the Contracts and Procurement practices, in cooperation with the technical teams
Requirements
Competencies as contracts and procurement leader.
10+ years of experience with a strong understanding of industry contracting issues
Good general knowledge of the industry, particularly the Gulf Coast.
Sense of organization, capacity to analyze and to synthesize.
