Role Overview:
As the Plant Manager, you will be at the helm of our plant operations, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality grating products. You will manage production schedules, uphold quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all manufacturing operations, including production and shipping schedules.
Review and analyze production and inspection reports, addressing any issues to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Manage plant maintenance and quality systems, ensuring the facility operates at peak efficiency.
Lead with a hands-on approach, supervising and mentoring plant supervisory staff.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Address customer issues directly and maintain strong employee relations.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in industrial engineering or a related field; a four-year degree is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years in a plant management role, with a strong background in manufacturing.
Experience with lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, or Six Sigma is advantageous.
Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical systems.
Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage complex information and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
