Job Overview

The IT Manager - Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and direction of all technical infrastructure activities within the company. This role requires evaluating the organization's technological needs, making key decisions regarding hardware and software procurement, and leading the IT team to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This role will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with emerging technology trends, ensuring the team's continuous development, and managing key projects from initiation through completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all computer-related operations, including network infrastructure, software applications, security systems, and the day-to-day technical support activities, including troubleshooting, customer service issues, approvals, and installations
  • Assess and identify the company's technology needs, recommending innovative solutions to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Manage and oversee DevOps processes, including the development and implementation of any deployments for entire organization.
  • Build, lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment, including the delegation of work-related items, tasks and project
  • Interact with management and staff to provide technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.
  • Measure, monitor, and maintain team's ability to meet or exceed contact and resolution Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and goals in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure the timely execution and completion of IT projects, tracking progress, and preparing comprehensive reports for senior management.
  • Stay informed of emerging technologies and trends and recommend improvements or enhancements to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.
  • Maintain robust security practices to protect the company's digital assets and data.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the budget for IT-related expenses.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to employees, addressing any IT-related issues promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business objectives.

Required Skills and Competencies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor, delegate, guide, and develop staff.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing and automating software development processes; expertise in Microsoft Suite
  • Manage, administer and audit all DevOps processes.
  • Experience in Scrum methodologies, with the ability to lead and facilitate Agile teams.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to stay current with industry developments and drive continuous improvements.
  • Reliable, self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in IT, including experience in management or leadership roles.
  • Proven experience with various IT systems, network infrastructure, security practices, and software applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
