Recruiting Solutions is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to join an engineering team for a manufacturer in Travelers Rest. This is a direct-hire position with competitive pay and benefits. This position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Apply today!

The Executive Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting the design engineering team in processing and maintaining engineering change requests, various drawings, product submittals and engineering change orders. The ideal candidate has exposure to drafting programs along with on the job experience supporting an engineering team.

Executive Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Processes all the approved ECO folders and related drawings & product submittals.
  • Obtains departmental approvals (checklists) for ECO's waiting to be checked.
  • Assigns engineering numbers & processes new engineering deviations, ECR's, specials, etc.
  • Provides miscellaneous items &/or support when requested:
  • Provides prints (electronic &/or paper) when requested by various departments
  • Schedules the engineering staff meetings & keeps the dept status reports up-to-date
  • Misc projects for the engineering manager &/or design engineers
  • Order office supplies when requested by design engineering staff
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for engineering manager & design engineers
  • Creates & maintains databases when needed, and inputs approved data into PLM system, SolidWorks, Syteline, AutoCAD, MS-Office, MS-Access and MS-Excel.
  • Maintain copies of external product standards and monitors for periodic revisions.
  • As new specification/sales drawings are compiled & released, creates PDF files for upload to the company website, production floor, etc.
  • Distributes and files the engineering (ECO) releases, and maintains obsolete/archive files.
  • Updates the PLM Item Masters with new &/or revised file pointers.

Executive Administrative Assistant Requirements:
  • Minimum of High School and one year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
  • Computer classes or training is necessary in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Excel, with some limited exposure to drafting programs (preferably SolidWorks &/or AutoCAD).
