Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead with a focus on cultural leadership, transformative team management, and operational excellence in this innovative branded experience. This role requires an individual who can blend strategic oversight with a strong business sense to build the business and increase the number of visitors at the venue/ customer facing establishment.
This venue includes a museum, distillery, retail, tasting room, bar and event spaces and offers the ultimate experience showcasing a global brand with one of the biggest and most impressive bourbon/beverage portfolios in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultural Stewardship:
Embody and promote the values and mission of the company, ensuring they resonate through every facet of operations and guest interactions.
Lead by example, demonstrating elevated professionalism in all interactions with team members, guests, and stakeholders.

Ability to assess talent to develop a winning team, that embodies that the company's culture. In addition, put together a workforce staffing plan that considers a large part-time employee population.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee all operational aspects, including running the P&L to ensure that the venue functions seamlessly and maintains high standards of quality and service.
Develop and enforce policies that align with the organization's values and promote operational efficiency.
Manage resources effectively, including staff, inventory, and facilities, to ensure operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Increase the retail experience, which will also enhance the profitability of the business.
Guest-Centric Approach:
Design and implement strategies to provide an extraordinary guest experience, focusing on personalized service and attention to detail.
Address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and grace, turning challenges into opportunities for enhancement.
Innovate and evolve the guest experience, leveraging feedback and industry trends to continually improve offerings.
Strategic Leadership & Financial Stewardship:
Create and execute long-term strategic plans that align with the vision and goals.
Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and sustainability.
Drive revenue growth through creative marketing, community engagement, and effective pricing strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 15 years management experience, with at least 5 in a senior leadership role within the hospitality, retail, or entertainment industry.
5 years as a General Manager, with full P&L responsibilities.
Proven ability to lead diverse teams with a focus on empowerment, development, and achieving high performance.
Deep understanding of cultural dynamics and a demonstrated ability to integrate them into business practices and guest experiences.
Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences with an ability to convey this enthusiasm to team members and key stakeholders.
