Our Higher Education client is seeking a tech savvy administrative assistant with experience using FileMaker Pro for an AAII contract to hire position. The ideal candidate must have 3 years of administrative/technical support.
**Candidates must be local to Boston as this role will be 5-days a week on-site for the first 3-months, before eventually transitioning to a hybrid schedule of 3-days on-site, 2-days remote
Job Details:
Support for staff including making travel arrangements, managing contacts, complex calendar management, preparing documents, guiding travel and other reimbursements, and monitoring deadlines
Compiling statistics and creating reports on courses, students, and alumni for grant reports, renewals, and other purposes
Supporting the course bulletin and course scheduling; maintaining course evaluations
Maintaining/updating departmental website
Assisting with the graduate application, admissions, and recruitment process maintaining databases that track undergraduate, graduate, alumni, course, registration, and other information
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree preferred or a minimum of three years secretarial, office, or related experience
Strong organizational skills, fastidious attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, anticipate, and initiate administrative tasks
Must have a strong customer service orientation
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships within the lab, and with colleagues
