Over 37 years, the firm has deployed $6B in capital across 11 funds and invested in 3,400 companies. Currently, the team is comprised of 10 investment professionals and six operations staff members across offices in Chicago and Florida.

THE ROLE

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, personable executive assistant and office manager to join our team. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to our President as well as managing the day-to-day functions of the office. You should have a can-do attitude and "no problem is too small" mentality because you will be the company's go-to person on everything related to where and how we work. This is a full-time position based in Chicago.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Assistant:
  • Provide administrative support and personal assistance to the CEO, including meeting planning and preparation, booking travel and itinerary preparation, recordkeeping, document preparation, and official correspondence.
  • Handle miscellaneous errands.
  • Managing passwords and help with basic IT needs (i.e., troubleshooting Zoom / Teams calls).

Office Management:
  • Ordering supplies and office equipment; working closely with various vendors to secure efficient and cost-effective solutions to meet office needs.
  • Manage inbound and outbound mail from the office, receiving all deliveries from the post office and private mail carriers; arranging messengers for local delivery, and scheduling any outbound letters or packages to be picked up.
  • Act as the first line of defense for all office visitors, cheerfully greeting them when they arrive, leading them to the correct conference room, offering them something to drink, and then notifying the host that their guests have arrived.
  • Administer health and all commercial lines of insurance.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three years of related work experience
  • Friendly, welcoming, and confident in your ability to lead the office
  • Creative, problem-solver who doesn't take no for an answer
  • Positive and humble with a "no task is too small" attitude
  • Hyper-organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Always looking for ways to improve the office, never accepting the status quo
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Zoom, and Teams
  • Having knowledge of the investment management business is a bonus
