Responsibilities:
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to diagnose, debug, and enhance system performance and scalability.
Design, develop, and run performance and scalability tests and benchmarks across various software applications.
Utilize profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide detailed root cause analysis.
Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impact of system changes, optimizing software for maximum efficiency.
Develop and implement performance test automation frameworks for continuous testing and analysis.
Participate in architecture and design reviews, providing performance-related insights during cross-team engineering efforts.
Integrate performance tests into continuous delivery environments to ensure robust and stable systems.
Develop and promote performance test engineering principles, strategies, and best practices across teams.
Key Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in performance engineering or related fields.
Strong experience with SAP applications, including performance testing, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in performance testing tools like LoadRunner Enterprise and Apache JMeter.
Solid understanding of SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, or C++.
Experience in JVM tuning techniques.
Familiarity with Database Management Systems like Oracle and SAP HANA.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of SAP technologies such as S/4 HANA, as well as performance testing of applications built on SAP BTP, AWS, or GCP.
Experience in mobile app performance testing and analysis.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of algorithms and Big O-Notation for performance optimization.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
