Job Description:

Position Summary
The Retail Lead is responsible for leading the interaction with customers and providing excellent customer experience and service delivery. Possesses cannabis product knowledge, provides product recommendations, and processes sales transactions while contributing to the companys sales success while acting as sales leader to meet or exceed the companys sales and profitability goals.

Responsibilities & Duties
Provides friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate customer service, leads team in same.
Educates customers on the brand, product options, and regulatory compliance.
Ensures transactions are processed accurately and efficiently using a computerized system; provides training to staff as needed.Authorizes and monitors facility access for employees, customers, and visitors by checking IDs, providing escorts, and completing and retaining applicable records while maintaining the customer experience.
Acts as sales leader to meet or exceed the companys sales goals by using Insa sales standards, models sales behaviors for team. Ensures order fulfillment and restocking is happening when needed.
Maintains compliance with Company SOPs and state regulations. Ensures the work area is kept in clean and safe condition.Follows safety guidelines and regulations, champions safety culture. Establishes self-accountability for maintaining a safe work environment. Leads team in same.Provides training and development for team members.Behaves in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork.Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills
Must meet the cannabis regulatory requirements by state. High school diploma or GED required. Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience required. 1 3 years of leadership experience preferred. Basic computer skills required; POS software and cash management experience preferred. Basic math skills including adding and subtraction required. Must have reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs occasionally. Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist. Visual acuity is needed for viewing computer screens and fine print. Manual dexterity needed for performing transactions.

Workplace Environment
Busy retail environment with moderate noise level. Indoor/outdoor environment with exposure to seasonal temperature changes. High volume work during peak hours, events, and holidays.
