Maintenance Lead
Responsibilities:
- Repairing all equipment to original performance standards and specifications in a timely manner.
- Keeping all equipment in good working order.
- Working with equipment suppliers' service representatives as required.
- Following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety guidelines, and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations related to food service.
- Communicating needs for spare parts as outlined in the spare parts inventory.
- Identifying equipment with poor performance history to the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintaining equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Communicating safety and sanitation issues to Safety and Sanitation Leaders, area leaders, Production Shift Supervisor, and Plant Manager.
- Reviewing maintenance requests with the Maintenance Manager.
- Ensuring the maintenance work area is clean, sanitary, and well-organized.
- Instructing appropriate team leaders in the proper handling of equipment to minimize damage.
- Reporting to work on time, in a clean and complete uniform, and maintaining good personal hygiene.
- Following safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Strictly adhering to all company policies and procedures outlined in the policy manual.
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
- Industrial Electrical and Control wiring understanding required.
- Food manufacturing experience
- General facility maintenance skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Capability to fabricate and upgrade equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
