Job Description:

Baer is looking for SAP Sales and Distribution Team Lead for a 10+ month remote project.


Title: SAP Sales and Distribution Team Lead
Location: Remote with some trips to NC
Duration: 10 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, ensuring it meets business needs and industry standards.


• Manage the full lifecycle of SAP SD projects, from blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into functional solutions.


• Provide expertise on integration with other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Financial Accounting (FI), and Controlling (CO).


• Oversee and guide the team in handling system configurations, enhancements, custom developments, and troubleshooting.


• Ensure optimal performance, stability, and reliability of the SAP SD module through proactive monitoring and problem resolution.


• Lead workshops, meetings, and training sessions with end-users and other stakeholders to drive effective system adoption.


• Develop and maintain project documentation including functional specifications, test cases, user manuals, and change requests.


• Mentor and support team members, providing technical leadership and guidance on SAP SD best practices.


• Stay updated on the latest SAP SD features, industry trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve existing processes.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration, implementation, and support.


• Proven track record of leading multiple full-cycle SAP SD implementations.


• In-depth understanding of SAP SD processes, including order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.


• Strong knowledge of SAP SD integration with other modules (MM, PP, FI, CO).


• Experience working with diverse teams and managing stakeholders across business and IT functions.


• SAP SD certification is a plus.


• Experience in S/4HANA SD.


• Experience in S/4 technical migration


• Experience integrating with SAP VMS


• Experience with SAP IS-Automotive


• Prior team management experience


• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP cloud solutions.


• Strong analytical and project management skills.


• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
