About the Role:

The Electrical Project Manager will provide high level technical design, consulting, and project management for development and constructing of electrical and technical systems of infrastructure, building, and construction projects. The role is responsible for continuously communicating with our stakeholders and representing their needs through design and construction specifically electrical.

You Will:


  • Support 3rd party vendors with their execution of design, construction, remodeling, and upgrade of facility technical systems, specifically electrical


  • Lead or support all project teams with technical system upgrades on electrical distribution equipment and systems


  • Represent The Bank as the owner’s subject matter specialist for electrical systems on internal communications and external coordination


  • Work with the project team to prepare appropriate proposals and presentation materials


  • Interpret electrical designs and make recommendations


  • Present project proposals and status updates to senior level Bank Management. Provide interpretation and enforcement of contract documents and agreements


  • Responsible for the creation and coordination of all contract documents initiated by the Bank throughout the life of the project


  • Work with the project management team to maintain thorough documentation of project design and construction activities, providing periodic status reports for both design and construction


  • Perform job walks on a regular basis to ensure project deliverables adhere to project scope, Design Guidelines, security standards, and building codes


You Have:


  • A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or Interior Design is preferred


  • 5 years of work related experience


  • Registered as an electrical engineer or licensed professional engineer in the State of Texas is preferred


  • Prior experience in supporting technical systems of a Mission Critical facility


  • Technical skillset to interpret and communicate facility system documents for individuals across the district


  • The ability and willingness to seek additional education for strengthening technical skills


  • Prior experience in internal renovation projects for a general office building is a plus


  • Knowledge of construction building codes and renovation techniques to oversee consultants and contractors


  • Experience in using REVIT or AutoCAD and MS Project is a plus


  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements

Notes:

This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.

This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite 3-5 days out of the we at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
