Job Description:

What will you do?

  • GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general monitors warehouse inventory and performs cycle counting duties to ensure all materials are properly verified and reflective of reported inventory. Also assists Warehouse, Production and Customer Service in locating materials when necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Cycle count materials throughout Warehouse

    • Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports

    • Assist in determining root causes of inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors

    • Assist with locating and pulling materials

    • Participate in general housekeeping (5S) duties within work area

    • Cross-train and rotate though various stations within department as needed to provide additional support

    • Conduct on-the-job training for newly hired and/or transferred employees


What qualifications will make you successful?
  • JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Abilities:

    • General knowledge of manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred, but not required)

    • Proficient with personal computer basic math skills

    • Must hold a valid driver's license and able to obtain forklift certification upon hire if not certified prior


Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:
    • Entry-level position. No experience required, but data entry experience is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:
    • Must be able to safely lift up to 22 lbs. regularly throughout shift. Overhead lifting and standing for periods of time throughout shit are essential to successfully performing job duties.
