CUMULUS MEDIA | DALLAS is looking for a dynamic part-timeProducer for NewsTalk 820AM/93.3 FM WBAP and 570 KLIF-AM. Board work, post-production and posting podcasts are all a part of what we do.
Who We Are:
CUMULUS | Dallas currently features 5 stations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area: KTCK 1310 The Ticket, KPLX 99.5 The Wolf, New Country 96.3, WBAP 820 and 93-3 FM News/Talk, KLIF-AM 570 News and Information. Key Responsibilities:
- Produce a compelling radio show by running a flawless, mistake free board in Market #4-DFW.
- Great with phone skills and able to multitask.
- Participates in station Programming and station events.
- Assist in production by listening for great audio bytes for station imaging.
- Handles emergency news/weather in show. Notifies appropriate individuals.
- Ensures logged commercials, Station promos, sweepers and any other programming element essential to the station's operations air as required.
- Performs additional duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Preferably 3-5 years of radio experience is required.
- Strong production skills and knowledge of Op X, VOX Pro/Adobe Audition and Audacity.
- Strong knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations
- Knowledge of, and passion for the News/Talk format.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and editing skills; proficient in grammar; ability to make others feel comfortable and open up on air
- Can work well in a team environment; Be collaborative.
