Job Description:

Provide records creation, circulation, storage, tracking, transfer and retention services as defined or outlined in EPIQ’s service agreement with client.

Essential Job Responsibilities


  • Register new files and track the circulation of files to and from client staff in Records Management System (RMS) database


  • Prepare inactive files for offsite storage or digitization, performing file culling activities as requested


  • Perform regular inventory of files stored at client facilities, or offsite storage vendors


  • Assist client with retention and file transfer activities, obtaining relevant files, preparing file indexes, staging for review, and preparing for shipment


  • Assist client with clean-up activities, including triage, categorization, and appropriate storage or disposition of content


  • Prepare reports related to the activity of the Records Department


  • Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring and recording of all charges, overtime, logs and entries


Qualifications & Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED


  • 1 year file, records, imaging/scanning experience


  • Familiarity with FileTrail, iManage Records Manager, Autonomy Records Manager (FileSurf), LegalKey, NetDocument, OpenTEXT DM or similar Records Management Systems


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


  • Detail oriented and attention to detail and accuracy


  • Good organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks


  • Ability to life or move 40 lbs. or greater


  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time


  • 8AM - 4:30 PM


The Technical Support Assistant investigates and resolves software and hardware problems of computer users. We are looking for someone with some handy skills who could also help backfill Facilities. This position is onsite 5 days a week.

Representative Key Responsibilities


  • Serve as user support specialist for the Nashville office.  Assist with occasional one-on-one member training; serve as team contact and solution provider for members in the Nashville Office.

  • Initiate, complete and follow-through with all assigned and self-generated tickets.

  • Assist with maintaining hardware inventory and database. Build firm standard PC’s and laptops.

  • Maintain and track loaner laptops; Organize, build and maintain proper loaner and hot-swap equipment and deliver to users on-time.

  • Assist with maintaining printer maintenance records and inventory. Serve as a vendor contact for all printer problems.

  • Provide Mobile Device support services, for example, iPhones, Droids, and iPads.

  • Install and test new technology.

  • Assist with telecom-related issues when necessary. Assist with LAN cabling patching and troubleshooting; and able to perform instructions remotely from firmwide network engineers.

  • Workstation set-ups and moves.

  • Perform software installations and other tasks as requested.

  • Work the hours of Monday - Friday 9:00am to 6:00p.m.

  • In rotation with other local IT staff, serve as 24/7 on-call emergency specialist.

Required Education, Knowledge and Experience


  • The successful candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience using computers including comprehensive knowledge of DOS, Active Directory, Microsoft Office suites 2003 and above. Experience in a law firm is preferred.

  • Possessing an A+ or similar computer degree or certificate is a plus.

  • An understanding of personal computers, printers, and remote access tools are required.

Required Skills and Abilities


  • Understanding and hands-on experience with audio visual set ups (laptop/projector connectivity, videoconferencing and teleconferencing set ups, TV’s, including Plasma, LCD, or LED).

  • Hands-on experience with WIFI: laptop cards and hot spots.

  • Excellent customer service and desk side support skills are required.

  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking and time management skills.

Physical Requirements of the Position


  • This position requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds individually or assist in the lifting of large parcels.

  • Must be willing to crawl under desk in order to service computers.

  

The Compensation range for this role is 18.46 to 25.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
