RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Architect on a direct hire basis in Pittsburgh, PA.

Overview:
The Infrastructure Architect will be tasked with leading implementation and maintenance of cloud management solutions, leading key technology infrastructure modernization program initiatives, and providing technical leadership in the areas of solution architecture and design in accordance with industry standard best patterns and practices. The Infrastructure Architect will also be responsible for guiding the solution design review process, collaboratively work with a variety of legacy applications and platforms and working with other technical architects to achieve strategic milestones with a goal of coordinating efforts to align the IT strategy with the business needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a Bachelor's of Science, Master's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience


• Must have 10 years of experience, in architecting, maintaining, and managing technology across variety of technical and business disciplines


• Must have an in-depth understanding of one or more cloud platforms preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure


• Must have excellent communication, contextualization, conceptualization, abstraction, modeling, patterns, design


• Must have hands-on experience in all aspects of target cloud computing (compute, CI/CD, containers, storage, platforms, data, networking and security)


• Must be able to problem solve and multi-task


• AWS and/or Azure certification is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
