RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Fully Remote State Tech Consultant to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• State Tech Consultant will conduct needs assessments, develops strategic plans, and provide consultations to states and territories on a variety of information technology process improvement issues


• Support the oversight and execution of defined strategies with States, including Puerto Rico, across the country


• Collaborate with Child Care SMEs, Strategy SMEs, and other Technology SMEs who are supporting other States, Territories, and Tribes


• Work with managers and clients to gather business requirements, identify deliverables, and support IT strategies


• Act as a subject matter expert to provide the vision and strategy for application modernization from a State technology lens


• Provide strategic direction for client deliverables


• As a State Tech Consultant, you will analyze a situation and formulate effective solutions


• Translating system requirements


• Risk identification and management


• Integrate with the Child Care Technical Assistance Network (CCTAN) to collaborate and coordinate technical assistance delivery, best practices, and lessons learned


• Update stakeholders about any issues connected to architecture


• Integrate with vendors/partners to collaborate and coordinate technical assistance delivery, best practices and lessons learned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master's degree in related field preferred


• Bilingual (English and Spanish)


• Extensive State technology experience (preferably child, youth, or family serving programs)


• Experience in a Consulting capacity


• Experience facilitating workgroups and communities of practice


• Excellent analytical skills and ability to see the connection between layers of business applications


• Excellent writing and presentation skills


• Superior communication skills


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Ability to make technical decisions regarding solutions and how they impact business outcomes


• Public sector consulting experience a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
