RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced Systems Data Center Engineer to join our team for a fully onsite position in Tallahassee, FL.

Summary:
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and provide technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Systems Data Center Engineer will manage and maintain VMware ESXi environments


• Perform Windows Server Administration tasks


• Configure and troubleshoot VxRail Hyperconverged systems


• Monitor and support Dell Servers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field


• VMware ESXi: Proficiency in managing virtualized environments


• Windows Server Administration: Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems


• VxRail Hyperconverged: Experience with VxRail infrastructure


• Dell Servers: Familiarity with Dell server hardware


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware, Microsoft, Dell EMC) are a plus


• Dell EMC Storage (Unity + Isilon): Understanding of Dell EMC storage solutions


• Dell PowerProtect Data Domain + Networker/Avamar: Knowledge of data protection and backup solutions


• Brocade Fiber Channel Switch Management: Experience with fiber channel switches


• Dell EMC Storage VNX: Familiarity with VNX storage systems


• Dell EMC Storage VPLEX: Understanding of VPLEX storage virtualization


• SQL Server Administration: Proficiency in managing SQL Server databases


• Azure AD + M365 Administration: Experience with Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
