Consolidations Analyst at Kforce Inc in Marlborough, Massachusetts

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is working with a well-known client in the MetroWest Marlborough, MA area that is hiring a Consolidations Analyst temporarily for at least 4-5 months.

Summary:
The Consolidations Analyst will be responsible for preparing and checking files that come into the system, focus on month-end close, review month-end packages completed by subsidiaries and make sure that submitted templates have been completely and accurately submitted and look for any missing check figures and communicate out to subsidiaries if changes or adjustments are needed. They will also be assisting in posting journal entries, running reports, pushing data into the presentation tool, and helping with overall month-end consolidation results.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• 3-5+ years of accounting experience


• Previous experience with the consolidation process or financial statement preparation


• Previous financial reporting experience in large, multi-national organizations with focus a plus


• SEC experience a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
