Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Solution Architect within our team. The Solution Architect is a versatile technical professional responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative technology solutions that align with business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies, architectures, business processes, the ability to create innovative solutions from scratch based on requirements, strong communication skills, strong work ethic, willingness to work in a team and independently, and excellent technical writing abilities. This is a remote role.



Key Responsibilities:




Solution Architecture:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that meet performance, scalability, cost, and security requirements.


• Collaborate with other Voyatek Solution Architects to develop architectural designs and roadmaps.


• Learn and utilize existing Voyatek accelerator frameworks and related architectures and utilize them to create solutions that address requirements.

Technical Documentation:

• Document system configurations.

• Create innovative solution diagrams which clearly conveys a technical solution to a non-technical audience.

Technology Evaluation:

• Attend technical and industry conferences to evaluate technologies which can be used in solutions and reinforce and/or form new technology partnerships.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.


• Evaluate technical requirements and help translate requirements into cost estimates.

Project Management:

• Assist in estimating project timelines and resource requirements.

Problem Solving:

• Design and build complex technical solutions for demos from requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 12 + years of experience in a technical role, with a focus on solution architecture and design.


• Strong understanding of various programming languages, databases, and operating systems.


• 12 + years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is required


• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Snowflake) is strongly preferred


• Experience with technical writing and documentation is preferred


• Scrum Alliance Agile Certifications is preferred

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $137,000 to $234,000.
