Position Summary:
Provides technical leadership and guidance to the Enterprise Systems team. Oversees the design and implementation of complex system solutions. Owns technical configuration and lifecycle management of all technical components related to our extended ERP Environment (Banner ERP on an Oracle database, with numerous "Bolt-on" applications and interfaces). Will act as primary contact and liaison with our Infrastructure Support team and coordinate security requirements and concerns with the Security group. Ensure all technical designs are properly documented and maintained.
The work schedule for this position is flexible and may include working evenings and weekends.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of systems projects across all components of the project life cycle
Defines resource requirements, plans projects, creates technical and functional documentation, and conducts impact analysis
Directs and supervises the development of the technical data collection and the preparation of a variety of complex processes impacting students, employees, and programs. Provides analysis and recommendations to drive data driven decision-making
Supervises software developers in the Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Systems department. Assigns, monitors, and evaluates the work of software analysts
Manages a large number of projects within scope and schedule and architects major software environments
Assists the Information Technology Enterprise Systems Director in the development and implementation of plans and goals for the software development team
Implements change, management strategies and provides recommendations for user adoption and transition strategies. Develops detailed design documents for in-house developed solutions
Ensures team stays current with the emerging technology training
Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field and
Three to five years of related experience and
One to three years of supervisory experience
or
An equivalent combination of certification, education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
Preferred:
Five plus years of related experience

Skill in current and applicable IT components related to a Banner ERP environment
