Financial Analyst

Netsimco is a Saalex company located in Middletown, RI. Saalex is an Engineering and Information Technology Services company providing Cyber Security, Information Technology, Strategic Operations Research, Wargaming, Training and Education, Range Operations and Management, Engineering and Logistics Services, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Services to an array of government agencies across every warfare domain.

We are currently seeking a motivated and ambitious financial analyst to join our team. The financial analyst will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

• Provide contract and program level financial and administrative tracking and analysis, including financial management/contract coordination actions for various programs.


• Provide overall financial planning, cost estimating, budget preparation, forecasting, labor and ODC planning and expenditure tracking and control.


• Provide financial and technical status reporting to both internal and external customers


• Track cumulative monthly/yearly expenditures charged to various projects.


• Monitor the status of incoming and outgoing funding documents and modifications.


• Create and submit invoices using WAWF and eCraft.


• Correspond with employees and Program Managers; respond to inquiries regarding charge codes, contract activity, etc.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong analytic computer skills, including knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and the ability to adapt to new computer programs.


• Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills - pivot tables, VLookups, etc.


• Knowledge in Unanet and ADP would be desirable but not required.


• Accuracy and strong attention to detail; effective at communication, organizing, prioritizing and multi-tasking.


• Experience with budget and cost analysis in a Government environment a plus.

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience required.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills.


• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.


• Must be able to begin work ASAP.
