Job Description:
Title - Master Scheduler
Location - Huntsville, Alabama.
Project
Assist in planning and executing Cost Saving projects, including project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with managers to define project goals, deliverables, and milestones.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
Stakeholder
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and provide status reports.
Documentation
Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports.
Assist Buyers with the RFQ process.
Basic Qualification:
Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control, production control, purchasing or scheduling is required
Develops Master Production Schedule (MPS) & Forecasting
Knowledge of shop floor environment
weekly production and scheduling report
JD Edwards planning and scheduling data
Manpower planning
Automotive / heavy equipment manufacturing - production planning
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Certification - preferred not mandatory
