Job Overview:

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that company records and customer information are entered and maintained accurately in our systems. You will be responsible for managing data entry tasks related to orders, inventory, customer accounts, and other operational needs. Additionally, you will handle customer inquiries and collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate Data Entry: Enter and update information into the company's databases, including customer orders, production details, and inventory records, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Verification: Regularly verify data entries to ensure they are free of errors or inconsistencies, and correct any discrepancies promptly.
  • Customer Service Support: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing timely and professional responses about product orders, services, and general company information.
  • Order and Account Assistance: Provide customers with accurate details regarding their orders and accounts, assisting with any questions or concerns and resolving issues as necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized, up-to-date records of customer interactions, order processing, and data entry activities for easy access and future reference.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with other departments (such as production, sales, and customer service) to resolve data-related concerns and enhance data accuracy across the organization.
  • Confidential Information Handling: Ensure all sensitive information is handled with strict confidentiality and professionalism, safeguarding customer data and internal company records.
  • Process Improvement: Actively provide feedback to supervisors on potential improvements to data entry and customer service processes to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy.

Required Experience:
  • 1+ year of experience in data entry, clerical work, or administrative support, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Customer service experience in handling client interactions, inquiries, and conflict resolution.

Skills:
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping, with the ability to spot and correct discrepancies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiar with database systems for data entry and management.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively interacting with customers and internal teams.
  • Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot data inconsistencies and address customer concerns promptly.

Abilities:
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • CRM Experience: Familiarity with CRM software or customer service platforms is a plus.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college coursework in business, communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Work Environment: Experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
