R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Scientist I/II - Oligo Purification in Pleasanton, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Scientist I/II - Oligo Purification: • Purification and characterization of oligonucleotides utilizing established and published procedures, and technical and theoretical understanding. • Assumes responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of oligo purification and analysis results. • Maintains lab supplies and various purification analytical instruments. • Summarizes experimental results, and reviews conclusions with supervisor/manager. • Works with oligo synthesis personnel to ensure smooth handoff of oligos from DNA Synthesis to Oligo Purification.
What we are looking for in a Scientist I/II - Oligo Purification: • Scientist I: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological/Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work-experience • Minimum 0 to 3 years related experience, preferred 1-3 years experience in oligonucleotide manufacturing. • Scientist II: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological/Life Sciences, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work-experience • Minimum 2 to 3 years related experience, preferred 4-5 years experience in oligonucleotide manufacturing.
