Job Summary:

ABL is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Capital Markets and Collateral Department. This role will be crucial in supporting efficient transaction activity related to capital markets and bank financing - ensuring smooth operations in compliance with internal regulations.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Collateral Documentation Management: Organize, maintain, and update collateral documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation and distribution of collateral-related documents, including loan agreements, pledges, and security instruments.
  • Capital Markets Support: Provide administrative support for capital markets activities, including the preparation of loan trade files and resolution of trailing document requirements.
  • Assignment and Allonge Creation: Create and process assignments and allonges for collateral and capital market transactions. Ensure all documents are correctly executed and compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Trailing Loan Document Research: Research and obtain trailing loan documents required for compliance and collateral management. Address and resolve any issues related to missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Condition Resolution: Assist in resolving conditions and discrepancies related to collateral and capital markets transactions. Work with internal teams and external parties to ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Enter collateral and capital markets data into the company's database or management systems accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role is required. Experience within a financial institution, lending environment, or capital markets is a strong plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with internal teams and external parties.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with financial databases or management systems.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
