Job Description:
As a sorter you will play a critical role in sorting a variety of dried cherries or nuts to be used in our Chukar Cherry Chocolates and other delicious Chukar products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sort dried fruits and nuts for size using a semi-automatic equipment.Washing and sanitizing cherry trays and equipment.Record weights, time and product information on charts.Assist in loading and unloading industrial sized dryers as needed.Scraping and packing cherries into 20 lb. to 25 lb. boxes as needed.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Communicate effectively with others.Ability to do highly repetitive physical work while paying attention to detail.Stand in the same place for a long period of time.Ability to use both hands & finger dexterity for manipulating cherries for inspection
SHIFTS AVAILABLE
Day: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
