ECS is seeking a Security Engineer to work in our Washington, DC office.
Job Description:
Assist in leading customer engagement to capture, define, and understand user and security requirements, decompose hardware, software, interface, and security control requirements
Assist in leading efforts to plan, design, and implement cross domain data flows, help users understand and define their data schemas, and help define and validate appropriate data handling and filtering policies
Assist in leading efforts in outlining the Cross Domain role in FBI strategies to include Zero Trust, Identity Credential Access Management (ICAM), Cybersecurity, Data, and Information Technology across the FBI Enterprise
Produced presentations and guidance documentation as part of the governance requirement to facilitate team collaboration
Coordinate with stakeholders throughout system development and fielding activities
Coordinate and plan system integration, test, and deployment
Support efforts to accredit systems following the Risk Management Framework
Assist with planning security improvements to systems and team processes to address Raise the Bar (RTB) Cross Domain security objectives
Salary Range: $145,000 - $170,000

Required Skills:
Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability of obtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
Bachelor's Degree
Present to leadership at all levels on current strategies and direction
Proactive leader, helping to drive cross domain and security maturity throughout the organization
Create and continuously update FBI's cross domain strategy, driving the prioritization of efforts and work
Ensure alignment of the cross-domain strategy to the Enterprise Zero Trust Architecture/Strategy and the Enterprise Network Architecture/Strategy
Create and update policies to align to FBI's strategy
Work across organizational silos to ensure cross domain proposals are building and incrementally being delivered towards the target enterprise cross domain architecture
Bridge the gap between organization silos by ensuring people and teams are focused, collaborating across departments, and working together to achieve a shared strategic vision for cross domain
Work with stakeholders to identify current cross domain weaknesses and scope targeted efforts to strengthen the cross domain posture while simultaneously moving the cross domains towards the longer-term enterprise architecture
Desired Skills:
At least 3 years relevant experience as a Security Architect in previous companies with a total of 5 years in Engineering or Architecture
Proven understanding and experience within large Enterprise security and/or cross domain solutions and technologies
Experience writing and driving creation and updates to security policy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Diagramming and ability to create executive content a plus
