Description: Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Developer - Service Catalog (SSE4)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Key Responsibilities:
System Design and Architecture: Design and architect ServiceNow solutions that align with business requirements, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Customization and Configuration: Customize and configure the platform, including creating new modules, workflows, business rules, UI pages, and integrations.
Integration and Data Migration: Design and implement integration solutions and manage data migration with third-party applications.
Development and Scripting: Write and maintain scripts and code (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.) for ServiceNow applications.
Secure Coding: Ensure implementations adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
Performance Optimization: Optimize performance and monitor system health.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and implementation guidelines.
Team Management: Guide team members on technical issues, bug fixes, and solutions, and review their work.
Required Skills:
Service Catalog Experience: Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Catalog.
ServiceNow Expertise: Proficiency in ServiceNow platform, Orchestration, Virtual Agent, Now Mobile, UI Builder, Designers, Automated Testing Framework, and Service Portal.
Integrations: Experience designing and implementing integrations using Integration Hub, Rest API, SOAP, eBonding, Jira, Azure, Microsoft Teams, MS Outlook, Office365, Mappedin, and third-party apps.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and other relevant web technologies.
Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL and Facility Management best practices.
Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and development teams.
Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
Technology Awareness: Knowledge of CI-CD/CSDM frameworks, MongoDB, SQL, Core Java, Angular, ReactJS, and deployment/project management concepts (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps).
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development, particularly with the Service Catalog module (Utah version or higher).
3-5 years of experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
3-5 years of experience with ServiceNow business rules, scripting, and application development.
2-3 years of experience in Integration and API development (REST, JSON, etc.).
2 years of experience with Catalog Builder or equivalent citizen developer tools and processes.
Desired Qualifications:
API: 2-4 years
Rest API: 2-4 years
ServiceNOW: 4-6 years
ServiceNow Development: 4-6 years
SN CSA Certification is a plus.
Proficiency in Report Analytics, Workspace, Survey, ITSM, CMDB, and other SN modules is a plus.
Experience with APIGEE, ESGA, Ansible, Amelia, or other orchestration and interface tools is preferred.
