Responsible for creating, monitoring and updating project schedules for various heavy/civil construction projects utilizing the latest version of the Primavera software. Prepare presentations demonstrating the proposed scheduling approach for the project. Assist Project Managers with the planning, monitoring and general administration of the work, including major design/build, P3, and other heavy construction management projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and update CPM Schedules
Develop monthly CPM narratives
Perform schedule reviews
Develop time impact analysis
Monitor and document construction progress,
Identify, track and assist in resolution of construction issues/conflicts.
Monitor, review and report on the status of construction contract schedules.
REQUIREMENTS
10+yrs experience in Civil Construction and/or scheduling
Experience working with public owners and government agencies such as NYCDEP, MTA, and DOT
Must provide writing samples; e.g., CPM Update Narratives, Time Impact Analyses, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Heavy field interface experience
Project engineering a plus
Proficient with Primavera scheduling software
Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to conduct meetings and present topics to a group
