Particle Measuring Systems (PMS) sets the standard for cleanroom contamination monitoring. With more than 60 patents, we create the technology that enables our customers to make fact-based decisions, improve process yields, and comply with ever-changing regulatory requirements.


Particle Measuring Systems is seeking to hire a Sr.IT Support Specialist.


This role will be a key part of a growing team that helps drive the success of the IT department by providing excellent customer service and technology experience. The Sr. IT Support Specialist will ensure PMS's systems are efficient, secure and up to date, providing IT support and expertise to keep everything running smoothly across our global operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of leadership, curiosity, willingness to learn and grow, and a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer focus.



Responsibilities:


• Establish clear escalation points for both first and second level technical support across our global operations.


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively, escalating complex problems as needed.


• Communicate with our internal associates and team members for efficient resolution.


• Provide guidance and mentorship to the support team in delivering the IT support operating model.


• Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers as required.


• Document and track customer issues and resolutions.


• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.


• Participate in the development and improvement of IT support processes and procedures.


• Manage AD (Active Directory) users and groups, permissions, and Microsoft Exchange email systems.


• Provide Support for our Microsoft 365/Azure environment with emphasis on Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint applications.


Qualifications


• Associate's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.


• Strong understanding of computer hardware and software systems.


• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure environment


• Understanding of networking including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP


• Strong documentation skills


• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Creative thinker and curiosity for technology.


• Strong and creative problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-growing team.


• Team player and excellent customer service.



Required Skills:


• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

• Proven Work experience with Microsoft Server technologies including Active Directory, File/Folder Permissions, Print Management, Remote Desktop, etc.


• Experience with working with Hypervisor technology (Hyper-V and VMware)


• Experience with cloud-based technology and applications.


• Experience with Microsoft Exchange (On-Premise and Online).


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and SharePoint


• Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.


• Ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies.


• Must demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.



Additional Preferred Qualifications:



• Experience with network infrastructure and security.


• Familiarity with database management systems.


• Experience with ITIL service management framework.

Pay Range



$70,000-85,000 depending upon experience.

Particle Measuring Systems determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for the Boulder, Colorado area. We will evaluate external equity, which is the relative marketplace job worth of jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.


For new hires, we to make competitive offers between the minimum and around the midpoint of the range. This allows the new employee room for future merit increases during review cycles. There may be times when we will offer above the midpoint. The decision to do so will be based on the applicant's level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and the compensation rates of the employees within the company doing the same position.
